Truth! Locally owned businesses that sell American products can’t compete price-wise with box stores that sell crap made in china.

If that is your stance make sure you invest with the same thing in mind.

Companies move their production to boost the stock price to get investors to buy stock and boost company value.

Companies are "making more money" because we are rewarding them with investment.

Can't afford that F250 King ranch to drive to the plant and 15k golf cart if they buy American.

Same with hiring illegals to do work that Americans want a decent wage to do.
The "Americans won't do those jobs" line is utter bullshite. They just want a living wage to do it, and people hire illegals instead, for next to nothing, to save money.

Careful. You're dangerously close to the other side.

I think there is some truth to it. I have a friend who runs a landscape company. He tried to start hiring more Americans and found that he could hire them, but they didn’t last more than a week or two. I’ll concede that you could pay enough to overcome that. Just to make the point, if you paid a million dollars per year you’d have people who stayed on the job, but the point is that the rate you’d have to pay would destroy half the industry because customers would not cover those costs.

Trading with China raises our standard of living. Our hyper manic tariff policy is stupid.

The problem with the lower skilled trades like concrete finishers, bricklayers, handymen, etc is the white people that do it are shitty compared to the Mexicans. They don’t show up on time, they’re trashy, and their quality of work is terrible compared to a legal or illegal Mexican.

Still made in the USA dot com. Haven’t visited the site in a while, but bought some really good bath towels several years ago.
