Actually Land Cruisers hold their value better than any SUV on the market not made by Lexus. After 8 years it's not even close. I own a 2013. Love it. You pay more but I plan to raise my 3 yr and 6 month old in it and either set it up for rock crawling/ off road in 10 years or let it be my girls first vehicle. But for now it is a mall cruiser. However I never worry about my family in weather, collision, or reliability. You will pay at first but will get it back in more ways than one.

I have a 2000 RX300 that is in great shape and runs perfect. I have one friend that owns a 1998 Land Cruiser and another friend that owns a 2001!Land Cruiser. Toyota and Lexus are well built and last.

Mrs Pimp loves her loaded 2014 Acura MDX. It's more sensible and comfortable than "luxury" but definitely a car that should stay tight for a decade. I would definitely put it up there with the Infiniti . It's a great car.

Had an XC90 and had more trouble with it than any vehicle I've owned. Had it towed 2 or 3 times in the first couple years. Will never own another Volvo.

I'm curious what kind of trouble and what year. Volvos are known for being super reliable and the new XC90 is awesome
