In the valleysis my guess, but living higher has the definite advantage of low to no bugs. I have no idea what the elevation is for that tent but above around 8,000 ft or so mosquitoes are rare. Elevation plus nightime temps make it hard I guess.

So would you go camping there and just leave the front flap of the tent wide open like that?
That's mainly my point.....in that who knows what kind of forest "friends" (snake, spiders, bugs, raccoon,etc) can come crashing your "glamping" experience when you leave the "tent" wide open like that.

Yeah that one is obvious. 
I know I'm very obsessive when it comes to making sure nothing food like is in our tent. I cant sleep until I know all food items are locked up in the jeep. Some guy got mauled to death just a few miles from our usual camping spot. Moron had opened granola bar wrappers in his tent.

You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Mosquitoes rare around 8000 ft
go to the wind river range in July and you will know why I am laughing However you are correct about nighttime temps causing them to shut down

While I've never really had to worry about mosquitoes when camping in Flag....I did take out like 50 spiders with my mallet while taking our tent down one time. Felt like I was playing whack a mole with spiders
And spiders terrify me so I'm sure I scared away some wildlife with my squeals of terror each time I saw one.

I was offered a seasonal general manager job with them last year. Turned them down due to low pay but I did consider it. Thought it could be a fun several months.
