You're right 18 years of living in Colorado and I have no idea what the insect situation is like in higher altitudes.

Would I leave the tent wide open? I don't know?

So you are claiming that as your picture from Colorado?

That is right near Peak Lake along Cube Rock Pass. Only several miles from Elbow Lake in the Wind River Range which I referenced earlier. Wyoming.



At least you tried to alter it with a no bugs here!

I have nothing to add to the thread other than the fact I'll be in Montana later this month.. but not in a fancy tent.. just a regular one.

I'm in Colorado now, place is awesome.

I didn't try to alter shite, I just grabbed a pic off my hard drive of my high altitude camping set-up showing the lack of concern for the many "critters" mentioned in this thread.
