MPDPH5...luv ya, but that is not a correct statement. While both are earthy, purple hulls give me a fresh taste where black eyes are more muddy tasting....if that makes sense. Just like butter(lima) beans...white, green, and speckled all have their own unique tastes. With speckled being the best, but I will turn down none.
