I used to ride the Trolley from San Diego to Tijuana when I was in the military I always remembered the trips down there but don't remember much about the trips back. Let's just say I had some good friends back then.

Just a few months. I'm helping my mom downsize into her new house and sell her old house in the mountains (Lake Arrowhead/BigBear area.)

Aspeigh, that is the Del Mar train! The horses are running now.

Yep!

They had a grade 1 for fillies yesterday.

I wish I’d been able to make it back this year.

Beautiful Area. My dad lived in the Valley near Palm Springs when I was in high school. I used to lay out in a beach chair in his backyard in a 110 degree weather and look up in the Big Bear area where the mountains were and see snow. It was very confusing from a kid that was born and raised in Louisiana.

Hi Aspy

Marinated tomatoes, cucumbers and onion that needed to be eaten.

Contemplating some sort of cocktail. Maybe a mint julep.

When I was in early 20's I used to have a cold Peach Nehi soda in the hot, south LA afternoons. It was wonderfully refreshing.

They disappeared for a long time. I saw them again, aboot a month ago, at Cracker Barrel. They were $3.50ish for a 12 oz glass bottle. The Canadian had never tried one so we got her one. I have been looking online for a more reasonably priced local version.

Your Eeka. Dollar Tree sells 2 liters of Nehi peach soda for $1.25.
