Can't hold a candle to an early-season South Carolina (Cherokee County specifically) China Pearl that got dead ripe on the tree, and you buy it 24 hours later as overripe at the farm stand surrounded by the orchard. Since you like yellow peaches and it is that time of year for freestones, substitute an O'Henry for the China Pearl.
