I did not know that.

I can tell you for certain eating fresh picked feed corn is a mistake. This was in Virginia, but I'm sure it holds true for every state.

My tomato vines have evidently gone dormant in this heat. They have lots of blooms that simply refuse to start forming fruit.

The grocery store had some beautiful white meat peaches the other day. I picked up a few - was not impressed - will not buy again.

More story:

I was at a friend's house & took a big bite out of a peach growing on one of his trees. After the 1st bite he told me to check it for worms. It was full of them I think it's some type of wasp that lays their eggs in tree fruits. This was in VA as well.
