Recitals and shite like that can be tolerated by taking a good gummy, wearing an apple ear bud and putting your celly in dark mode as you hold it low.

I've seen my daughter in the Nutcracker 12-13 x2 and she was even Clara one year...pretty big deal at the Mahalia Jackson Theater......and she's been in multiple dance and ballet recitals....she's on on her way to being a Prima Ballerina.....One thing I despise is dance recitals.....I'd rather rather watch 1000 Nutcrackers than watch another dance recital.

I danced a long time, too
Recitals just come with the territory
The Tulane summer music theater is pretty tortuous too - every try hard used to try out for that shite
My friends were always in that - and that Shakespeare stuff that used to be in city park - my summers were better spent getting beers for my dad as he watched baseball on tv
