When did you remarry?
I thought that crazy blonde first wife came at you with a golf club and that is what caused the real injury that wrecked your game.

do the boys want a new dog?
Yes. But I can't get another dog atm, just want Nymeria back. Not ready for another one.
The boys say Nymeria is in sky Dada, she is not gone (in their 4yr old voice). It is so sweet.

Hello Lady Squirrel & Friends!
Madam, I am proud to be in the low, low post count. My Mexican neighbor made me Sopa de Conchas and it was very spicy & good.
My goal is to become as fat as this sports announcer's dog.

Rule of thumb
1 month mourning for every year you had the pup.
6 years = 6 months mourning
It is why I always have multiple hounds of multiple ages. At this point in my life I get smaller and smaller dogs but will always have at least 2. One young and one older. Too old to housebreak so I do hound rescues now starting at about age 2 up to age 6.

I told you about the lab I tried to rescue for a woman close to my age this summer. A wonderful lab and very loving middle age female. All was going good till the dog went up and put her paws on the lady's shoulders. Got the full perspective on the size, like a decent sized bear. Too big for her age.
:(

Old nail lady "your soaking in it" commercial comes to mind!

I rememeber that, Cheez Grits.
Madam Squirrel, I'm sorry to hear that. 18 is a good long run for a cat.
Chloe has been gone a year as of Tuesday.
