in honor of my sweet baby who i know is hurting, i will refrain as best i can from being "annoying & rude skillet" today.

Leftover Don Jose. Texan Chimi. It's fricking LEGIT!
I still laugh at the poster here who shite on Don Jose a few months ago when I praised the place.
They had a 45 min wait at 815pm on that damned Margarita Day last week so we didn't get our fix.
They are a lot cheaper than Superior/Velvet and a lot better than Casa/Caretta. My fave Tex-Mex in BR without question. Even LL and Jonesie approve.

No. I just gave you a good description. It's between the more established 'GOOD' joints and the lower-tier places.
First location was Kenner on Williams. Opened last year off College where Great Wall Shitty Buffet was.
Very good food and inexpensive. I don't drink much at restaurants but their margaritas are incredibly good and cheap compared to Superior. I also know Kenner location has $2 margarita happy hour.
