I got a bunch of snacks from Trader Joe’s. Dried okra, peanut puffs, seaweed, parsnip chips. They are delicious

Well fry me a turkey or make me a smoked boston butt for Christmas, and I won't make any more fun of your dried okra.

NO!

Not happy right now. Meeting called for 2:30 on a Friday before Christmas. Who does that?

And just went to conference room and no one is there.

I had fried catfish and fixings for lunch.

Thought I would switch on auto-pilot and cruise into the long weekend. No dice. Phone has been ringing all day. These people are trying to work me to death.

Except now the tables are auctioned off for today and the Friday before Mardi Gras.

That sucks. The line outside of Galatoires on the Friday before Christmas is a New Orleans tradition. I still go from time to time, but have not been to the Christmas Friday in years.

Frickin' Mel Rodrigue did this and fricked up a lot of the traditions when he became GM

We usually have a big tree and put non-breakable ornaments on the bottom.

I usually turn our house into and over-the-top winter wonderland, but this is the first time in a long time we're not hosting anything holiday-related
