I think I’m the only person who likes the cattle call. Babies and young kids generally get on first so I can pick my seat away from them. If I have an assigned seat I’ll either have some brat kicking my seat the whole flight while mom ignores, or a screaming baby next to me. I know it isn’t that baby or parent’s fault for the screaming, but I still prefer to sit away from them.
