Anyone that's been around LSU and football has always known, Ensminger is a has been, but good LSU guy with ties to HS, and stick him at TE coach, let him recruit. You notice how productive our TE's have been since he became TE coach, lol.
Just like Les, Coach O wanted a buddy of his that he could completely control. He couldn't control Canada so he booted him. He got a control buddy.
That's exactly what got Les fired. Exact same thing. And like Les, lol if you think O will suddenly rethink and change that philosophy.

All true, but O will harp on that W-L record just like Les did...Good luck firing a 10 win a season coach. I personally would fire O after the next Bama debacle.

Any SEC coach with 3 losses or less in a season is a frickin top 5% coach.

Yep, LSU admins don't have the guts to fire a 9-10 win coach again.
I like some things I've seen with Coach O. I'm not ready to fire him. I really thought the team was finally buying in to his philosophy after the UGA game.
But his leash is short if he shits the bed on his next OC hire. And I think his ego is his downfall, just like Les. And because of that, he'll hire a buddy, not the best available. (he will never fire Ensminger. Ever. He will have to resign)
