Chickens are housed in giant, overcrowded cages, where they are packed in by the thousands and forced to stand and sit on filthy, chicken shite laden flooring, which is typically cleaned out only every 2 to 4 years.

I went to school with a girl who’s family had a huge chicken farm. She had to help catch chickens. She’d come to school and her arms would look like she’s was one of those self harmer types.
