I would stay away from blue as well.

Anything that could possibly make your poop look bloody is a no go.

My grandfather would go out and kill a few squirrels and prep them for the frying pan. My grandmother would eat every edible piece of them but my grandfather wouldn’t eat any of it. He called them tree rats.

You can eat green and yellow Jell-O before a colonoscopy, but stay away from red, orange and purple gelatins. After you schedule a colonoscopy, your doctor will give you a list of instructions about what to eat and drink — and, perhaps more importantly, what ?not? to eat and drink — in the days before the procedure.

Clear soups like consommé, bouillon and broth
Yellow or green Jell-O
Flavored ices that aren't red, purple or orange
Hard candies that aren't red, purple or orange
Clear fruit juices (apple, white cranberry, white grape, lemonade)
Clear sodas (Sprite, ginger ale, 7 Up, seltzer)
Clear Gatorade
Black coffee (no milk or cream)
Tea
Water

Well I just had throat resection surgery and my tonsils removed back in December, along with straighten septum and resect turbinates

If I can handle that this shouldn’t be too bad

Oh that sounds painful. I always heard it is much more painful as an adult to get tonsils out.

My 27 year old coworker got hers out and ended up out of work for 4 weeks. People were trying to say she was a wimp, but that’s a hard surgery.

I had this at an older (not childhood) age as well, and wow that was not fun. The sleep I've gotten ever since, though, made it well worth it.

Don’t eat much 2 days before and the day before will be easy. Schedule the best breakfast place in town for afterwards.
