Yeah, I plan to eat a lot more steaks in my black iron skillet. I can cut down on my spaghetti portions. But gumbo, jambalaya, etc. I just need to make on weekends when people are over. Chicken breasts are easy. I have my sons the BBQ pit to take with them, so I just need to buy a smaller one and put in the backyard to grill a few things.

I eat out for lunch every day, so never bring food to work. I can eat whatever that night, and the next, but then I'm done with it. When I cooked in bulk, I had leftovers and they were gone within the next day or 2 with the boys eating them.

Right now, I'm looking for quick and easy after work. I'm getting tired of cooking after all day at work.

Great fish to cook any style.

A buddy dropped me off 10 nice ones from that area last Sunday. Guess he was tired of cleaning them. I had no problem filleting them.

Them hornets love the swarming action.

don't forget oven-baked wings

they take approximately 1 hour to make but it's non-intensive so you can do shite while they cook

Honey Siracha oven-baked wings

buying cheap cuts of beef and marinating overnight in this

and then cooking on a pit is like heaven, fwiw

or do this shite

and chicken or pork (pork is better)

That's a little too wet for me, but IWEI.

SFP, thanks for the ideas. I would have to get the wings crispy, though. I don't like soft chicken wings. But I never thought of making wings and I love them.

1 boneless skinless chicken breast and salsa in the crock pot. Cook on low for 6 hours, shred. Makes great soft chicken tacos.

Can also do the above with BBQ sauce and make shredded BBQ chicken sandwiches.

Makes enough for a couple of meals.

I always buy meat and separate into smaller portions before I freeze so only cook one of whatever it is. I'm good with left over sides, but not really big on left over meat.

I'm the queen of cooking for one.
