According to the American Heart Association (AHA), the maximum amount of added sugars you should eat in a day are (7): Men: 150 calories per day (37.5 grams or 9 teaspoons). Women: 100 calories per day (25 grams or 6 teaspoons).

I was at less than 15g of added sugar yesterday including the bar. So, I think I'll be good.

3 cups of coffee with that pumpkin panty dropper creamer. Couple bowls of cereal (cinnamon toast crunch) and a couple ice cream sandwiches with normal food mixed in

No idea what that amounts too

I agree with their recommendation for the most part, but companies pay them to put their AHA stamp of approval on their products. things like cheerios, fruit juices, instant oatmeal...shite loaded with refined sugars. Money talks i guess

I know an AHA stamp on a box of cereal doesn't mean that cereal is actually good for me.

I'd never eat it. But white girls wold eat a dog turd if you sprinkled that shite on it. If it's coated with pumpkin spice, it's going in their mouth at some point. Pretty much like hunting over a baited field.

the AHA is obsessed with saturated fats causing heart disease and their reluctance to promote fats over sugars is a big issue in the health industry and may be causing a ton of obesity and heart problems
