I just had oatmeal and coffee for breakfast.


Likely chicken, kale, and quinoa soup for lunch. Bought it at Costco the other day, pretty good.

Can you explain quinoa to me? I've noticed a lot of people on my instagram eating it. My first guess is that it is a white rice replacement. But I could be off.

Superfood

Lots of protein in it. It is bland by itself but easily absorbs flavors in foods you mix with it. And yes...you can replace rice with it.

It is a good replacement for rice. Has a higher nutritional value and can be prepared in a variety of ways.

I've made a southwestern style quinoa that is damn good. But I have also simply added salt and pepper and used it as a side dish as well.
