Had it happened once, I'd write it off as him being unaware where the ball was. Maybe even twice. But he's done it three times now. It's like he's gambling our girl can either beat the throw to 2nd or outrun the first baseman or something. It makes no sense. But then again, most of what they do makes no sense.

I even sat down one night with the coaches after they asked me to figure up the girl's batting stats, RBI's etc based on the book. At first the coach said he wanted the stats "at the end of the season". I asked him why he wanted to wait until then when he needs to know those stats right now to put together a sensible batting order to maximize our run scoring chances. He looked at me like I was speaking Klingon. He honestly didn't know coaches use things like batting stats to figure out how to put together a batting order.

There was only 1.
