I snuck into that building when I was a freshman in college. It was freaky. The old racket ball courts had demonic graffiti everywhere, and otherwise it was trashed. Oddly, there were lights on in the locker rooms. Why it has sat unused, abandoned, and otherwise crumbling is beyond me. It has so much potential. Imagine fixing that pool up to hang out in, instead of that lazy boy river. Alas, nothing LSU does makes sense.

used to play pick up games in the old gym armory, slippery old wood court. but it was cool with the seats up over the court. imagining sparky wade and those guys playing there

Shame, I used to kick it in and around that place. But I guess it’s a waste to have such a key location left to an exploration site. Still hate to see it go.
