LSU’s football and other sports programs lost $81 million in revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the school cannot use federal aid funds to reduce that deficit.

Make stupid decisions regarding a virus with a 99.997% survival rate and enjoy your consequences.

Convenient timing for this release with LSU about to hire a baseball coach.

Some butthurt bianco supporter perhaps?

Shut down the whole economy because of the flu and you lose a shite ton of money.

This truly is a case study worthy of a Harvard business school textbook.

So the AD should just pass those losses on to the non-Athletic side of the University which probably can make them up with federal dollars.

Here's to hoping they lose twice that from people not buying tickets, merchandise, and donating.

priorities, baw! a few years back when the Texas Rangers were about to file bankruptcy the whole league was in an uproar because they thought A-Rod(who hadn't been with the team for years,) wasn't going to keep getting paid, not so sure they're not still paying that sleaze ball

Nah. I hope no one buys tickets or donates money to them either.
