I would always be worried about customers getting caught and giving up my name. Drug dealing isn't for me.

Stupid ones I'd imagine! I'd never buy from someone I didn't know, and surely would never sell to anyone I didn't know!

That's why I'll miss Colorado. Being able to drive with a couple ounces in the car, or even a few pot pants, and have zero paranoia, is a wonderful feeling.

I just feel bad that somebody who was doing a public service, is about to feel the consequences of shitty, nonsensical laws.

Ok, here's another one that brought my dealing to an end.

I was to go meet my dealer to hand off cash and pick up some more weed. He always fronted me and I would always pay him within 2 weeks. I only sold by the LB and only had a few customers that then broke it down. I did have one of my customers get busted with a little bit of weed, cash and a bunch of ecstasy. Luckily the weed was not their concern so they focused on the X. Anyways, I went to meet my guy at a hotel and would call him on my way. I called and he didn't pick up. I got to the hotel and didn't pick up again. I started getting a bad feeling, but I was 20 years old and nieve so I didn't think anything would happen. I went into the hotel lobby, went to the front desk and asked for the room number. She called up to the room and received an answer, which I thought was weird. Why would he pick up for her but not answer my calls. I went to the elevator and questioned whether I should go up or not. Someshing in me decided not to go and instead get in my car and leave.

Later I found out that my guy got busted in the hotel and the cops were there just picking off people that were coming to pick up/drop off.

Apparently they came looking for me but I was already gone.

Dayum. Glad a it's a damn good thing you trusted your instincts. I think I'll light up some Mob Boss to celebrate your good deeds and freedom.

I was still smaller time when I sold, but it was just as good weed was showing up in Florida. A couple pounds a week or so. I knew my connect through a mutual friend. Well, that friend died of leukemia.

At the funeral, we smoked some in the parking lot. Afterwards, I dropped a friend off, who was selling major weight of schwag bud. The cops in his neighborhood definitely had an eye on his house, because he was getting careless and had to much traffic for the suburbs.

So sure enough, they pull me over, smell the weed, and busted me for possession of a quarter bag. I knew probation was coming, so I quit selling right then.

My connection sold other drugs too, especially pills. He was moving a ton of oxycontins. Apparently, he sold enough that a Dea agent got a job at Emeril's in Orlando, to get in with the group.

He got busted, along with several other people he sold to. After that, I was done selling for good.

I loved after I finished growing pot LEGALLY in Colorado, and having 2.5 pounds at the house. My roommates particularly loved it, since there was always about a half pound of several different strains, sitting in a basket in the corner of the kitchen. But weed goes fast when you have no concern for moderation, and only rolling papers to use.

Is that guy still in jail? I'm assuming if they got a DEA guy involved that he wasn't getting slap on the wrist.

Sigh, more valuable prison space to be taken up by a college student who had an untaxed income stream from selling a substance that is less harmful than alcohol, tobacco, sugar, and most prescription drugs.

A damn good lawyer, and a first time offender. He did a year or two, and ended up with a very long probation sentence. At least that's what I heard. He might've also snitched, since that was about the time I was done with Orlando, and quit hanging out with almost all my friends I grew up with, except a very select few.

2 pounds really ain't gonna make the judge twitch and he will probably get a slap on the wrist if little, if any time served. Assuming he has no priors or other issues.
