LSU should be proactive and change their mascot

The mob is going to get to it eventually. It would look good for LSU to make the preemptive move and change it anyway. It would be a really good look for recruits and current athletes to show that the university cares about them.
Tigers aren't native to Louisiana anyway. Why not make it something like the LSU Rougarous, or the LSU Leopard Dogs?

I will repeat what I said in another thread:
The only place I’ve heard of people wanting to change it is here on TD. Stop trying to speak it into existence. I know a hardcore SJW who wants to rename the buildings and all that but even he said the Tiger mascot is sacred, no longer represents the Civil War and should not be changed.
