Making threats isn't protected speech. You think the sheriff investigated this because he simply sounded angry?

No doubt Senator Fesi will remember this next time LSU goes to the Legislature to beg for more money.

Pretty sure that rant violates LSU’s Code of Community Conduct. He should be placed on leave immediately.

Listed under graduate students under 2017-2018 Cohort.
Maybe he finished and got a job. He seems to like studying sex offenders. Probably trying show they are treated unfairly and shouldn’t be labeled.

You obviously didn’t listen to his rant. It’s not protected speech at all to make multiple death threats. LSU will be well within its right to suspend him pending a full hearing. This professor is clearly unstable and a danger to the university.

You’re right. But none of that will ever happen. It’s just (D)ifferent.

Lack of tenure will be what does him in, not his weak use of the passive tense

Um...k?

By a 7-2 majority, the court decided that statements are not free speech if the defendant recklessly disregarded a substantial risk that their statements would be viewed as threatening violence.
