Power was wide arse open when I lived there. Even during Christmas break, when maybe 1 person was actually still in their dorm room, you could walk into any building. Different times for sure.

I lived in west laville in the late 90s. Easy to let anybody in through the back door even though there was a camera. I couldn’t sneak into the girls dorms the same way.

With “the bottom” being so close to the north gates of campus you’ll always have these shite heads thinking they can blend into their surroundings to commit felonies. Even with LSU PD constantly patrolling.
The foreign students that live at the Edward Gay apartments are constantly in real danger.

Know it’s hard for people to fathom but not every person on campus is associated with LSU. A lot of shitheads from Baton Rouge come to campus to scope out crimes of opportunity.
Like that dude in the picture.

When was that? When I was at the dorms you were forced to GTFO for holidays

Always wondered where the foreign exchange students ended up. It’s not like they had family to go stay with

Everything you love about LSU.

My brother was robbed at gunpoint in his Hatcher dorm room in 1985. Guy knocked and used a ruse about needing to borrow his phone then pulled a gun. That was a week or two into his first semester on campus.

This is what happens when you lower entrance requirements.
Entrance requirements have nothing to do with people being dipshits. Having book smarts doesn't equal to common sense. You can have smart dipshits as well. Not sure what you're implying there.

Hes implying that when you start allowing in lower class people, shite like this happens
Sort of like the person that couldn't get what he was implying here

Sometimes they stay with friends, or a faculty member, church or local family will host them. If they're from a country with a large local community it's usually not a problem. But there are always some who fall through the cracks and have to fend for themselves.
A lot easier for a Honduran student to come up with a plan than one from Nepal.

I lived there spring semester of 88.

But get your vaccine, it will save other people from the horrors of this world.

I'm sure our CRT practitioner of a president will figure out a way to blame systemic racism for this

When I lived in Pentagon C-2, 3rd floor we left our doors open with a massive fan for cooling and chairs set up for late night "sessions" and a community beer fridge. Break ins were never a concern.
Some people ruin everything.

They knew there was nothing worth stealing in Pentagon

Downvote me all you want but I went to school at LSU and I've seen and heard lots of what the "upper" class people did as well...like the rapes, thefts among other things. So you're "lower" class because of grades? Or for another reason? That's why I asked what he was implying. Because it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, they're dipshits in all "classes" of people.

When you raise requirements for your school, you generally attract a better person. When you lower requirements where grades and performance dont matter, you start letting in a group of people where the chances for them being shitheads greatly increases.

Yeah Fender & Gibson guitars, amps and effects pedals, and stereo equipment weren't worth stealing.
Dumb arse.

In this case,it means being in an area you have no business being without authorization. If this individual was a resident of the dorm they'd know who he is by now. So he's a friend or family member, or more likely, someone who wandered in from off campus looking for a score and somehow gained access to the building. This is why I have no problem with stopping and questioning anyone who looks like they don't belong. Call it profiling, I don't care. It's needed.
