LSU Parents Facebook page

My friend who is a member of the LSU Parents facebook page just called to tell me about these incidents.... Three parents just posted this.... All of these JUST happened today!!

1) "my daughters classmate was just robbed at gunpoint at Southgate complex... this is a separate incident from the one on campus. this was down the street from campus so LSU has not reported it to its students."

2) "My daughter walking in the quad to class around 6pm today, had a tall black male follow her and ask for her phone number. She said no and he repeatedly followed her and said he wanted to be friends. She was trying to ignore him but he physically removed her earbuds out of her ear because she was ignoring him. If they touch them, from what I am told, that is considered battery. He matches the description in 3 other batteries doing the same thing. Please have your student report it. My daughter’s professor helped her report it through LSU shield app and a police officer did arrive and take a statement. There have been multiple batteries reported so please have your kids report anything, especially if they touch them. If it goes unreported the police are not aware. Just FYI."

And I heard something else happened to another LSU student ~ was assaulted walking near the library yesterday.
