If that's what the Reveille publishes these days then I'm glad it's not going to be daily anymore. In regards to privilege.. Minority scholarships, anyone? Affirmative action? Ability to invent traumatic episodes and gain attention?

Clarke Perkins only makes life worse for black students who know she's full of shite and just want to live life like a normal college student. If I were one of them, I'd fricking hate her. I hate her anyway, but not for that reason.

She obviously has trouble putting together (or is willfully ignoring) macro issues like black on black crime causing more interactions with police or police dealing with certain demographics that are much more likely to be violent as per crime statistics.
She most certainly has an audience that is craving to hear why the largest problems facing their community are not their fault but rather the fault of some sort of white boogeyman/illuminati puppet master.

They possibly would. But I think people should take the high ground and call her out and let the ramifications take their course. Reminding everyone of her past activities at key times is much more effective. When you offer the opportunity for her to regain her victim status, the pendulum begins to swing back in her favor. Would it be satisfying? Yes. Would it be ultimately effective? Probably not.
