No, its not a red flag to me. I dont know her, but I have been around other blacks who dont have kind words regarding the police and she strikes me as this type. I dont have the full time line of the story, was the news called before or after the facebook posts?
Will you at least admit that, hypothetically, if she was making this up then her behavior would make sense? I know that we're not gonna all out agree here, but you can meet us there right?

I have a hard time believing that an upper middle woman is so scared of the police that she's afraid to fill out a police report for what looks like a serious hate crime even after she called the cops.

and in a show of goodwill, I'll admit that there is a chance (however small in my mind) that this could have been done by a genuine racist with bad intentions. And if that is the case then I think most here would agree that the perpetrator has no place at LSU. But I think most of our experiences on campus were pretty positive, I had friends from many races and backgrounds while there. And we talked about race and social issues but it was almost always a positive discussion where people were respectful. This picture of a hateful campus where black students are treated badly is just inaccurate, in my experience at least.

I have a feeling that what sfp said will happen. Not much will come of this. Police know it's probably almost impossible to figure who did this, and if they suspect it's her, to just let it slide because it isn't worth it.

Outside of this, I dont consider anything else you posted as hard evidence. The article says BRPD is investigating so maybe something else will come out about this.
