Me too. I had it suspended for a while because I didn't meet the hour minimum and got it reinstated. I guess the suspended years don't count

What's the yearly cost for LSU these days without TOPS or other scholarships?

Out of State- around $12/13,000 per semester not including housing and miscellaneous expenses.

Yall are fortunate to have TOPS. Many other states don't have anything as lucrative (like mine).

that the students voted for. 100% student-funded; absolutely no state or federal funding is required for it. If you don't like the decisions America makes, move to another country. If you don't like the decisions LSU students make, go to Bama (which, by the way, is now being run by a former LSU guy). So I guess go to Auburn (where they're doing the same fricking thing LSU is doing). shite, I guess go to Florida (where 90% of this board would NEVER be successful nor could even get admitted to). Well frick, I guess that leaves the other SEC schools (which don't even come close to LSU in terms of what is offered to students).

Poor babies get all their tuition paid for by TOPS but still have to pay a whopping $2,000 a year in fees and books. My God when will the cost go down?!

When buying something that costs $10,000 a year and someone agrees to pay $8,700 of that cost each year for me, I'm gladly paying the difference!

This new generation fricking sucks. frickING SUCKS! And they vote TOO!

Paying your dues is part of it. Everyone before you had to do the same thing. Why are people bitching about bettering the school and campus?

Damnit I paid for that Rec Center back in early 90's and never got to use it since I graduated before it opened. Now I need a membership

What I said is not out of line. Sure, my figures didn't include living on campus but nobody has to live on campus. I committed 45 minutes one way each day and saved $45,000 over the time I was there.

If you live down the road from campus but choose to spend all that money to live on campus, then that's just stupid.

One grad class is $1400 this fall. Hoping the grant I helped write comes through and covers tuition after that.
