In the GBFTL and ChE? Ditto. Should get you kudos while interviewing, at least it always did for me. And allowed me to explain the cyclic nature of my GPA.

adding about 80,000 square feet in the faculty parking lot.

No. It won't advertise for quite some time and then it will be a public bid.

You can get lost forever in CEBA

I remember my first class in CEBA. The building with a numbering system without any logical progression.

Guys, I have a secret. I've been lost inside CEBA since 2002. I've been posting here from random computers in lecture classes throughout the last 12 years. Someone help me.

Why does LSU all of a sudden have a hard on for super modern architecture?

Used to love when you had the basement Lockett class and it'd rain and start flooding at the bottom of the stairs. Then try to remember the path to get across campus in 10 mins to get to my classes in CEBA.

That is one thing I miss about college; those shitty weather days when you get out of bed, look out the window, and go "...Nope."

Hopefully at some point LSU will turn out Civil Engineers that don't use hallucinogenic drugs while doing road and intersection design.

Old Forestry Building is coming down. No parking spaces will be eliminated.

It's terrible, and completely conflicts with the rest of campus.

There are ways to bring the two design marks together like they did with the LSU gift shop...but this does nothing like that. It would look out of place and hideous anywhere.

I've said it about 3 or 4 times in this thread. From everything I've been told, those renderings have been scrapped.

They have. I'm not entirely sure why we keep the old ones on the website or trot them out every time there is a news story. The latest round of architects came in and decided the original ideas for the most part weren't feasible and they came up with their own set of plans and renderings that are far different.

Hopefully they are more in live with the look and "identity" of LSU campus. Keep it classy and stay away from all that modern shite. The Coastal building is

I've been told this is the intention.

They haven't, nor will they be anytime soon (from what I've gathered). Doesn't mean we have to keep the old ones on our site.
