I actually like what LSP is doing. It tells the protesting groups, we will be ready for you, we will allow you to say your stuff, but we will be prepared and will put down any foolishness with the quickness.

Because I'm a citizen of Baton Rouge and would rather not have riots in the city, it isn't a difficult concept to grasp

Actually might not be a bad idea. If they did this, all the MSM will be covering Trump and not paying attention to whats going on down here. So the race baters and professional protesters will all be tied up in DC.

The only reason this matter has carried on this long is to appease a certain demographic. If this decision was made on straight evidence alone, the investigation would have concluded in about three days with a finding of no wrong doing.

I would bet that only about 10-20% of the investigation involved investigating the actual incident. The vast majority of the investigation was likely focused on investigating BRPD as a whole to try and dig up any info the DOJ can use to paint BRPD as a group of card carrying klan members.
