I'd argue this address is actually the Garden District, since it's above Carrondolet.

It's technically Faubourg Livaudais, which is within Central City.

ETA: But I now see that the Garden District Association claims both sides of Carondelet.

Is any part of that area north of St. Charles referred to as the garden district?

It depends on who you ask. Per Wikipedia:

The City Planning Commission defines the boundaries of the Garden District as these streets: St. Charles Avenue, 1st Street, Magazine Street and Toledano Street.

The Garden District Association defines the boundaries as both sides of Carondelet Street, Josephine Street, both sides of Louisiana Avenue, and Magazine Street.

Absolutely. Washington Ave. is basically 5th Street.

I don't know. I've never considered anything on that side of St. Charles Ave. the Garden District. Having said that, I can't call it central city either. If I had to choose I'd go with Garden District. Barely.

But I'm certainly not the Grand Poobah of NOLA neighborhood appellations but I do have friends that live a block from the scene.

Gotcha. Obviously I dont know the geography of NO. I just know my experience in the day at UK, some of what she was complaining about isnt entirely unreasonable as far as how upkeep and maintenance are concerned with the housing off campus. Doesnt mean she gets to just not pay rent or say frick off when evicted obviously. If her complaints were actually valid, and Im betting they were, she should have handled that shite long before this. Landlord not holding up their end of things, document and head to small claims. Dont cry about it afterwards to justify not paying rent. Two wrongs dont make a right.

Quigley can eat a bag of priest dicks. His required course pissed me off to no end. His white guilt is off the charts disturbing.

Clearly she was jealous of her good looks and decided to take her out.

With that said Kudos to Loyola Law School for its rigorous admissions standards because its clear they are scorching the competition with who they let in!

Any Loyola grads recall what Quigley’s class was called?

I don’t think “white guilt” was in our vocabulary back then.
