Lowe's because it's right by the exit. Home Depot is on the other side of the interstate.

Ace by my house for little stuff. I tend to favor Lowes. Store is usually better organized and they tend to have better stuff. Plus Falcons.....

The emailed receipts at Home Depot are awesome. I also like that you can log into their website and upload receipts to your account. Comes in very handy when you are doing large projects and want to keep track of everything.
Online ordering is so much better with HD as well.
I have had 2 online orders on Lowes.com canceled with no notification at all. Big PITA when you're waiting for an item, log into your account and it shows as gtg but it has in fact been canceled when i call them. LOWES needs to step their IT game up

At least Home Depot money stays in the US. I recall reading in one of the finance magazines a European investment fund bought over 60% of Lowes stock. IIRC, money spent at Lowes goes to a pension fund in Sweden. I use Home Depot because it's close...been using same store since early 90's.

Lowe's, simply due to proximity. Or Stine. The nearest Home Depot is 30 miles farther away.

Home Depot for hardware, paint and plants. Lowes for lighting and decorative things the wife likes. Home Depot is much closer to home and Lowes is in the hood so don't like driving there.

All treated wood seems to be crap now but I've found Lowe's to have the worst,good selection on most everything else though.
