Lol. "Speeds as high as 50, and now...we are moving at a crawl."

I think I saw Bob Hope pass the Police chase in a golf cart.

if you are going to get into a high speed chase then 10 mph is about as safe as you can get without stepping over the line.

Why can't they just speed up and cut him off exactly?

Texas has a bunch of stupid restrictions on police chases.

Edit: They just said on the broadcast that police can't block or get in front of cars in a chase like this unless the vehicle is endangering others.

seems like 10 mph is the perfect time to cut him off. Armed or not.

Hey, it's one way for this jackass to keep his life, because if officers shoot him in a 10 mph chase, they gone get sued, and they gone lose.

So this guy can drive until he runs out of gas if he doesn't endanger others? Didn't realize Texas has those stupid restrictions.

I feel kind of bad for the news anchors on air. They've been trying to make this interesting for over and hour.

Police are tweeting to keep people from watching it from the roadsides.
