30 years ago in 1988 I went through basic training at age 18. I turn 48 this year on May 5. My daughter is 9 was born in July 2008, just after I turned 38.

Is there something odd about that?

I'm not too quick to jump on the whole situation - this may be a range, and they've already "grounded" cover because they're going to be wearing helmets or other protective headgear.

Honestly, it's been so long since I was in anything like an IET background - hell, my last officer candidates were in the BDU era.

This looks to be ACU, so it could even be a couple of years back.
