Low Flying Plane Identification

I just saw this plane flying due East in South Lafourche. It looked too big for a private jet going in for a landing at the Galliano airport, and the paint scheme looked military.

The dark paint scheme points to a military or weather operation.
It could be checking the mid level moisture to feed the forecast model data for Ian.

Okay, I think I figured part of the mystery.
It was a plane on approach to the Galliano airport.
I also shot video and zoomed in to see that the landing gear was being opened a few seconds after the first shot.
The curiosity in me wants to know who has a plane like that in that size and paint scheme, and why land at the Galliano airport.
