My reading compression is fine.
I quoted your exact words. “Punishable by death”
If as you said they punished him by death, then they intentionally killed him. Therefore, you implied/insinuated they murdered him.

Yea that’s not what you did. You edited my reply and said “when did he say that”... of course I never claimed he said what you pasted.
You are arguing with him about what he thinks you said I said
Anything to deflect from the fact that you haven’t provided any evidence to support your claim that the cops murdered him by beating him to death.
You are worse than the race baiting lawyers involved in these cases.

Or you could just link the evidence that the cops beat him to death and I would agree with everything you are saying and we could all move on.

One more time.... If you can’t read that article and watch that video without concluding that the cops abused their power and beat that man to death then I can’t help you. They admit beating him so bad that blood was flying everywhere, while his limp body is loaded into an ambulance where he pronounced DOA at the hospital. Are you insinuating the medics did it?

Then I guess you can’t help me. The video in the link doesn’t even show a clear punch being thrown.
So you are entitled to your opinion, but maybe you should stop acting appalled that we don’t agree with you if you can’t easily produce evidence that they beat him to death.
And lastly, there is no way you were in DC on Jan 6th. There is zero percent chance anyone there would watch that video and read an AP article and come to the conclusion you did. Therefore, it’s pretty obvious you are lying or a troll.

Stayed at CitizenM. Flew American and delta on a 737 the first weekend they went back into service.
Get your head out of the govt’s arse.... Cops lost a shite ton of support from the right that weekend. They’re not your friend!

Shows what you know. After the way cops treated us and locked people in the hotels that night... Threatening them and not even letting them out to smoke a cigarette.... Oh yea they’d definitely come to thIs conclusion.

The cops are doing a job. Just like you their number one priority is providing for their family. You expect them to stop in the moment not knowing what is actually happening and throw away their career? And if they don’t you equate that to being a traitor?
All that plays right into the hands of the left when you think you are standing up for small government libertarianism.
Man, you should really take a deep look at your beliefs. I feel like January 6th got you all twisted.

I know everybody is jumping to the instant conclusion that this is the dead mans fault, but we very recently (few months ago) had 2 or 3 State Troopers from this area (La State Police Troop F) get fired and charged with some excessive force type crimes. I would not doubt a bit that there’s some crossover in the previously arrested troopers being involved in this case.
That State Trooper unit or troop or whatever is notoriously crooked.

So high speed chases are ok now as long as you’re black and “sorry”.
Since blacks commit crime out of proportion to their population and culture won’t be allowed to change Blacks being able to just say “sorry” and more arrests like the white teenager for social media posts will probably have to happen to get arrest & crime rates more equitable…

Their job is to arrest people, not be the judge, jury and executioner. They’d be home with their families now instead of facing criminal charges had they not broke the law and abused their power.

All this could be avoided if folks would comply with police directives. The Left refuses to state the obvious, so folks will continue to die. Sad.

Regardless of if it is use of excessive force, someone point to me where the racism is. Would you be surprised if it was a white dude being treated the same way after leading cops on a high speed chase? I don't think I would. Cops lose their tempers and do stupid and irrational shite when they are pushed. That doesn't excuse their behavior, but also doesn't mean their motivation is racism.

Cops are hyped up on adrenaline and react with pent up anger too often. I’ve had it happen to me with excessive force due to mistaken identity (I looked like the guy they chased so they took it out on me). For decades they have gotten a free pass because they are the law. Now people don’t wanna hear that anymore. Im all about comply and you won’t die but there are seriously some bad cops out there who want to hurt people, especially minorities. It’s a fact.
In most of these cases the people who died didn’t deserve to to die. The penalty for a high speed chase shouldn’t be death upon arrival.

There will be many on this board screaming “innocent until proven guilty!” Even with video evidence. And then the typical ‘if you just obeyed the cops everything would have been okay.’ argument.
I get unmitigated shite for criticizing ‘due process’ in an earlier post yet these officers did not follow any form of ‘due process’ according to the video and some of you will not address that.
And these same ‘innocent until proven guilty’ warriors, I would be willing to bet that if they were old enough during the O.J. trial, they were screaming “he’s guilty” during the entire trial.
I remember. I was one of them. And so were all my friends at the time. And even some of my hypocritical friends while screaming O.J. was guilty during his trial were screaming innocent until proven guilty during the Chauvin trial. Blatant and racist hypocrisy.

For all the people arguing, listen to the "use of force experts" being trotted out by both sides. No one seems to be saying the beating was the cause of death. They are all stating it was the lack of care following exhaustion from the fight and being restrained.
It seems that these days fat people having heart attacks after a big fight are on the police.

Is the bold part a fact though? If this is true, there should be a much higher rate of use of excessive force and / or death on average per encounter when comparing white vs black criminals. I don't think that data is available, unfortunately, but I haven't seen any empirical data to be able to say that your statement is true, only anecdotal.
