Ol' Rob Perillo getting in on the action

quote:

So far radar behaving in Acadiana w/trouble spots W & N of BTR where tornado warning about to expire. Storms edging into Cameron look to have some dynamics as they advance inland next couple of hrs....these cells we'll watch more closely.

That looks like a debris ball in your screen shot. Having trouble finding it now. Might have gone away.

That's not a debris ball bruh. That's wind direction and speed.

We got a tornado near St Francisville heading towards Jackson

As fast as it cranked up it cranked back down. That same cell that moved through WBR. It’s been charging up and down for the last hour.

Now it looks like it’s cranking back up.

So far it doesn't look like the pieces really came together. The spinning potential is increasing in SELa for the next few hours but with the rain ongoing I don't think there's enough instability to really take advantage.

Still watching SWLA but so far, so good.

The tornado watch is for that little pissant line of storms between Lake Charles and Lafayette but those storms are showing zero rotation.
