The military did their jobs in Afghanistan and Iraq. State Department and 3 letter agencies didn't. Why not?

There was a deal cut. The Taliban can go back to business, 10% to the CIA and 10% to the Big Guy.

Dayum! That Nation Building Military-Industrial Complex is a bitch. Grinds up young men like a meat grinder.

All jokes aside, I wish heroin WOULD make a come back and push out the fentanyl in the U.S. because it’s a hell of a lot safer.

Never thought I’d be thinking/saying that but here we are.

Just over 5 months later, Pickett celebrated his beloved New Orleans Saints' first ever Super Bowl win.

If nothing else, it showed we don’t back down and will fight if provoked. We’re not afraid to spend 20 years and trillions of dollars blowing your arse to pieces so don’t frick with us because if you do, we’ll do just that and then gift all our equipment to you when we leave.

It also shows that if you frick with us.. We are not scared to use it to try to accomplish something else.

Just like WWII.. Public opinion favored that we don't get involved. We hold oil to Japan, they bomb pearl harbor.. Everyone all of a sudden wants to go to war.. So we do just that by going to Europe.. And then after that it was "oh by the way, Japan was the one who bombed us we will just drop some nukes on them".

Im not saying I agree or disagree with the actions. Its just an example of how things are not always how they appear.

Yes, because absolutely nothing happened in the Pacific between Pearl Harbor and Hiroshima.

Wrong (again). It means quite a bit to the people that served there. It always will.
