Louisiana interstates aren't that bad

at least compared to Indiana. I-94 makes I-10 between BR and Lafayette feel smooth.

Can't imagine 74, 70, 69, 65, 64 being that bad.

I-5 around Stockton makes I-10 between BR and Laffy look like z autobahn.

PA is notoriously bad. Makes Louisiana look good.

So...you had to travel all that way just proving your point! Louisiana interstates aren't that bad compared to having AIDS...good arguement

I-94 through Michigan was bad too. Kentucky and Alabama have the smoothest interstates.

Louisiana's problem is that the mediocre interstate is the best road surface in the state.

I recently took a LONG road trip. Almost 6000 miles. Covered 15 big states out west. I can atest there are non-drivers EVERYWHERE. We don't have a monopoly. People out west love blocking the left lane.
The young 'uns here complaininig about the traffic haven't been anywhere. The no n- drivers are Everywhere! Take a drive and see

I-20 at the Texas state line through Shreveport & Bossier City is fricking horrible.

Yet I've still never encountered more dawdling frustrating retards than in BR.

Whatever the list is, it's a short one.

They got a saying for that. PA has two seasons, winter, and construction season.

I49 as far south as Opelousas is a good road.

Louisiana has shitty roads. But it's expensive as hell to build a proper road with Louisiana's geology and local building materials. Sand is dredged, limestone is imported from Mexico, and it's built on a swamp.
That said, they're no worse than around Denver. But here, there's cold temps and plows fricking things up. Up north, the plows tear up the streets.

Have you driven in Alabama? 65 is horrible. Parts of 20/59 are ok.

They will be great once they get the gondolas up and running.

I expect to see on CNN / Fox News any day now that the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles has collapsed. I have felt uneasy driving over it for at least the last 25 years.

....and they charge tolls to use most of the shitty freeways around here.
