Canadian has EBR below freezing for 76 hours with a low temp of somewhere between 10 and 12 degrees on Tuesday morning.

Yes I lost my little seatbelt insert that I click into the thing to keep it from dinging all day and it annoys me now. It’s my work truck I’m not wearing a belt out here on the farm all day

One of those fake gas log fireplace heaters? Nah, you're gonna be cold without a generator.

These gas fireplaces with the fake logs use a thermocouple to open the gas valve. They don’t need electricity.

You definitely should be if you're gonna be driving around on icy roads, low tire pressure, and posting on tigerdroppings

Those thermocouples can get dirty though. It your fireplace doesn’t light despite the pilot light being lit. Give it a good cleaning.

We didn’t even get the frozen rain. Just a light glaze on surfaces from the mist.

Wow, I thought you were supposed to ice over and have outages.

Today was suppose to be low 70's.

It never hit 65 and the temp is already 59 and starting to drop in Denham.

I don't see how it's as warm as they are predicting this weekend if we are supposed to be getting reinforcing cold each day.

Hell here in NW Calcasieu it was supposed to hit 65 today and never got above 43. And raining it’s arse off.

And The Weather Channel is going to name every damn one of them. Right now it is Shirley. The next round is already Tabitha. They will name each wave as an individual "Winter Storm". Craziness.

I always say this but for the life of me I dont see why anyone would give a shite.

I don’t really see how the lows are only 39 and 38 for tonight and tomorrow considering it’s 39 right now

The clouds at night sort of act like a blanket so it generally doesnt drop all that much with cloud cover.

You’re gonna need to clean that carburetor.

We def were supposed to get iced over but it missed us to the south, oddly enough. I wasn’t too worried about outages on this round in Frisco. The power lines that weren’t buried recently were replaced with the huge metal poles and mega lines all the way to the station. Most have been buried by now, though.
