This is great. Truly. But there are two main takeaways here so far.

1. February doesn't suck arse for the first time in several years (80+ degrees).

2. The February outlook has been blown to pieces, thus proving yet again how worthless any long range outlook is.

Well it was

Tad bit warmer and less precipitation but still a good winter event.

These models will flop back and forth until whatever happens, happens. The take away here is that the models are quite consistent in showing a major cold outbreak along with moisture at the same time. How cold and how much precip we get remains to be seen.
