Nah, he is just choosing to gain the world and lose his soul/i.e. Rejecting the free gift of grace from Christ and choosing to let his itching ears hear what they want for temporary riches. Woe to him

Of course not, because heaven and hell are a fiction of human imagination. Santa Claus for adults, nothing more than an inexpensive way to keep the populace from acting on their baser instincts.

They’ve been posting this all over Ruston sites, but I haven’t really paid much attention. The main pastor at that church comes across kinda iffy. I don’t think they have a huge congregation so I’m not sure where this kind of money is coming from.

Quoted from Ruston Rants:

Stan Pody said 2 things before his sermon yesterday concerning this. He addressed the accusations to his wife. Seems that was a main concern because it was her birthday offering.. I’m sure he wanted to make sure they still got their check.
He also mentioned that this is the devil’s work and that if we only knew the other 80% of the story we would think or feel differently. Followed by him saying that he wasn’t going to get into all of it.

he gives zero fricks

first, find me a preacher working for nothing in return. They’re just dudes doing a job. no different than any other job.

Secondly, what’s a “real Christian?

My preacher. Has a very small congregation. He also has a full time job. He is not in it for the money. But anytime you have a problem, he is there for you. Never ask anything for return.

I went to a mega church once. The preacher was presented by the congregation with a new gold Rolex. Just shook my head and left. Especially when half the sermon was the importance of titheing.

Someone needs to look into the Church of the King guy on the Northshore. He seems likes a real skeezin’ type of douche. Rizzo banging the choir director kind of vibes from him.

My father taught me years ago to never trust 50+ year old men with blonde hair. Just not right.

When it come to false teachers I have ZERO issues calling them out. They do untold damage to the lives of people and the Body of Christ. What you have here is a classic example of a hireling. He doesn't care about the sheep , he cares about the $$. I hope he repents. it very obvious he does not know the heart of the Father.

I would like to know just how much of the $$ given to this crook makes it past his bank account. How much does he sow into the community or give to missions. "devils" work. that's laughable. Devil isn't going to interrupt a good thing he has going there.

Considering they do not have a tax id, and the only ones with access to the account are the family, I'm going to say $0.00

One guy of the Ruston Rants Page, that was a former member, said he tithed $35,000.00 from a business he ran and the next week the Pody's had a new pool

When questioned about it Stan said it was for baptism.

The purpose of a shepherd is to protect the sheep from the wolves so the shepherd can take a bigger flock to the slaughterhouse and get paid more.

I’d say he’s a good shepherd.

They’re basically the OG OnlyFans, “Jesus edition” … the same types of people who give them all their money bc, muh Faith! Are the same people who buy OF chicks stuff and think they actually “like” them. Sad, sad people.

Pastors abuse their positions and their obligations to Christianity, as Jesus defined it, for various payoffs:
1. Power, including political influence for certain politicians (very prominent today);
2. Power, for sexual favors and to satisfy perversions (long time favorite);
3. Money (since the beginning);
4. All of the above.
