Congrats I guess, I know that Auburn team whipped my son's team at the state tournament.. but we kinda sucked couldn't believe we made it that far

How is Dixie youth vs little league, regarding competition? Assuming most state champs also play travel ball.

Most of those kids will end up,with a job where there name is on their shirt or being arrested for knuckle checking at a weekend softball tournament at age 40.

Holy shite. THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE!! I went to sleep last night thinking, how the hell did that 12 year old Ruston team do against that team of 12 year olds from auburn?
I was tossing and turning all night. But then I saw this thread. BY GOD DID YOU DELIVER!! I can now truly enjoy my Friday and weekend knowing MY BOYS FROM LOUISIANA, the 12 year olds from RUSTON beat those little sons of bitches 12 year old Aubbies!!!

Yep. I played DY in the 70's, there was no Little League in much of Louisiana.
You would have 35-50 kids trying out for a 15 person roster at that time.

Ruston rolls into a Dixie Youth tournament with a Travel ball team that plays together all year long. It’s not exactly in the spirit of the rules. These are supposed to be all star teams selected from a rec season from one playground. My travel ball team full of Jayden’s, Jaxon’s, and Paxton’s would’ve blew that team up. Congrats on gaming the system!

My little league team, the Tigers, won the state GABA tourney in Alec in 69. Don't know what the hell GABA stands for be we won the mother fricker. Had the patch for a long time, don't know where the hell it went.
