Total cases by collection date on or after 10/29/2020 - 8,079, plus hospitalizations equals 8,755. The number I posted yesterday using the same methodology was 8,135. There are 620 more active cases today than yesterday, an increase of 7.62%. 1,840 of the 2,173 new cases are from test dates during this time.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see schools shut down from Thanksgiving through New Years if this trend continues

These numbers are yesterday and today's number's correct? LSH didn't report yesterday due to veteran's day.

You can see the beginnings here. It’s much more pronounced in the Acadiana region though.
Acadiana hospitalizations are also up 39 since Oct 30th.
