Today's update includes 1,741 positive cases dating back to as far as 5/28.
Hmmm...I suppose one can read this as the earliest positive is from 5/28 in this dump.
I wonder, how far, do you think, the multitude of unreported negatives go back?

They keep them in their back pocket for days they need them.

It’s all bullshite. No point in even following this nonsense anymore

Over 14% last time it was reported. But that was the 24th I believe.

And hospitals, more than likely. Nosocomial spread.

The LDH should provide a spreadsheet similar to the OP updated daily with backlogs dated to the correct day

They've updated through the 29th and, naturally, it's 13%+ everyday

Never mind, post above answered it.

I’ve never seen How Mississippi reports their numbers
Buckle up, bro! The CBS Evening News had a Harvard doctor expert on last night saying he's predicting Mississippi to be the next SARS 2.0 charnel house.

Asher has a tweet out on it: 37% from within past week, 60% within last 2-weeks, 13% from May/June.

How in the frick are we still reporting cases from may?
Posted on 8/4/20 at 12:33 pm to TigersSEC2010
I don't understand why they can't give 2 numbers for days like this when they have test dating back to more than 2 months ago. Say for 8/4/2020 positive cases are: 1874 then *1741 cases were added from back dated tests? Why is that so hard? They know the idiots in this state will see the total and go into fricking panic mode again. I hate this place so much right now.

Sheer incompetence?

Days like this? Every day of their reporting is like this. There is no way that it isn't done intentionally.

37% from within past week
Then that is not "most" being between July 28 and today.
Unless these are percentages of tests not positive cases.

LA going to have most cases oer capita for the entire world.
Get that federal money JBE. LA needs it.

Yep all the late reported negative cases are bringing all those numbers down now. Unreal.
ETA: This is an epic shitpile of negative tests being reported. Does anyone have the breakdown of old tests vs within the last 2 weeks so we can see the 2 different positivity rates?
