Dude started the interaction by acting like a douche towards the cop and got a douchey attitude in return. If he’d have been somewhat polite and moved down the bank a little and away from the boat ramp, everyone goes on their way happy.

it should be compulsory to be polite and respectful to government workers?

Jesus, does the fat arse clown in the car know a single law? Did he just cum in his pants flexing on a kid with an RC boat? I'd fire that piece of shite if that video reached me and I had the power to can his dumb arse.

Trespassing at a public boat launch
Ticket for not registering a toy
Threatens arrest for practicing 1st amendment.

Someone fire that idiot.

Which side? Making up laws to enforce or threatening jail for folks enacting their constitutional rights?

This dumbass cop will be the one standing outside of an elementary school during an active shooter incident writing kindergarten kids a ticket for not having an inspection sticker on their hot wheels while others are catching bullets inside. Fire him now.

What random law did the guy break by driving his remote control boat at a boat launch?

The guy who posted the video said this:

First off, it is actually a law that you can’t use a RC boat at a boat launch.I know getting a ticket for playing with a rc boat is sounds ridiculous. I thought the same thing when the cop came ?up to me. I truly thought he was one of them cops that get board and do whatever because of how ridiculous his reasons were. This is a perfect example of why people dislike cops so much.

The guy that posted the video isn't an authority on the law just because he got harassed by the police and submitted to them.

Dude catches a fish with the same rc boat in this video LINK

Wonder if he’ll get a ticket for not having a commercial fishing license?

Madisonville, LA. Make no mistake, this “village” that has quickly become less so, is ancient. Due to its location, it has been an area of import for centuries.

Circumstances have led to it becoming more “modernized” in the last decade or so, for better or worse, but it’s still a small town feel for sure.

No, having half decent manners is not compulsory. But you know....treat others how you want to be treated and all that.

Go into a private business acting entitled and being snippy with employees right off the bat. Your experience is probably not going to be as pleasant as if you'd just acted like a normal, respectful person.

But saying "sorry, no problem" and just moving away from the boat ramp with his toy wouldn't have generated as many views for his Youtube video as being a smartass and getting into an easily avoidable argument.

Cop pulled up to water line.. to lazy to get out.. uses loud speaker ti get the guy’s attention and you think he was the one being rude? The entire interaction was tense bc the cop was a lazy douche. If he simply gets out.. walks up and says … not a big deal but we need to keep The launch clear… blah blah blah.. instead of being a snarky and unprofessional arse

Sad to say, that's not the most obese or most stupid example of a Madisonville cop I've seen. All of them that I've encountered living here for 20 years have been pretty high on the dipshit scale. They are truly in a league of their own in this respect. Every town around here(Covington, Mandeville) has a few petty tyrant cops, but this little speed trap town seems to be staffed exclusively by miserable individuals with a chip on their shoulder.
For those who have never visited, do not drive an iota over the speed limit passing through, and be careful rolling into town on 22 from the west- the city limit is quite a way from the town itself and the Keystone Kops love to hang out whacking the uninitiated who don't notice the speed limit drops. Same deal north of town on Hwy 21, especially leaving town at night. They haven't been real active lately, but as soon as it cools off or the Town has a bad budget month, they'll be up to their old tricks.
