Sure why not.

ETA You're talking about this plate, right?

Hollywood prop. Fake plate. Back when these type plates were issued, the center letter denoted the Louisiana State Police Troop (region of the state) where it was issued. There is no Troop O. Also no mounting holes. Cool piece of memorabilia though.

I'm also pretty sure it was "Sportsman's Paradise," not "Sportsmen's Paradise" as that plate says.

I collect all. Louisiana though is one of the hardest to get because It’s one of the smallest states and the dmv says you have to turn them in. Which isn’t the case you just have to cancel them.

And yes the older ones are quite pricey.

Pretty cool. That is a lot for a single state. I'm not a collector but I've accumulated a couple of dozen from various states (and a few foreign ones) over the years. They do look good hanging the garage.

I'll look and see what I have put away. I know I have a couple of Alaska plates and if you want them I would be glad to send them to you. They are just gathering dust.
I've been looking for a LA 1969 passenger car but all I find are in poor condition.

We had a girl in High School whose family was from around New Iberia.

I got her shirt and bra off in the backseat once and she had what looked like pink dinner plates for areolas.

Didn't slow my ardor down, as a horny 15 year-old aesthetics weren't Priority One.

That's all I got.

that one is close to mint. It doesn't look to have been restored. It would bring a pretty penny for sure. I have 2 of those.

SIL has a set of 1943 Louisiana plates that are in very good shape. Yes, two matching plates. Anything to them?

If its a matching set they could fetch my guess would be 250+ because sets are hard to find. and 43 plates are getting harder to find

If anyone has any out of state issued LSU plates Like TX, Miss. I would be interested in them.

Also I would like to have one from every SEC school. That would look great hanging on a wall together.
