This thread will likely get anchored because its only a one word title, but I would probably go with the lump sum. If I win $50M I would get what in a lump sum? About $20M? I rather take it all because I would have more to invest than if I would get paid one a year.

I would go with lump sum myself, it'd be easier to manage and less problems to deal with in the end.

I buy a ticket every once in a while when I pass through LA...worth the $2 to just think about what I would do if I won.
